FENDERS

There are several stock fender solutions that work well with the Swift. Following are two:

1. Clip On Fender (e.g. SKS Xtra-Dry Rear Seatpost Fender)

2. Freddy Fenders Recumbent 20" from Planet Bike
(part #'s 7010 and 7011 for the front and rear respectively)

Cut the end off the rear fender with kitchen shears or tin snips.

Install front fender per instructions. You may need to shorten the stainless steel "stays" in front by about 25mm (1 in). You can do this by squeezing really hard with a pair of wire cutters and then using pliers to break the rod at the cut mark.

The rear fender can be attached at just two locations on the frame with zip ties. This allows the fender to flex out of the way when you fold the bike. It also makes attaching/detaching really quick and easy.

Fender compresses against rear tire when the bike is folded.
