Xootr Go How
What is, go.
What is, how.
Getting nowhere is no how.
Easy everywhere is go how.
Ready to go, ready to ride.
Ready to speed, ready to glide.
Slickered into speed love
you get so addicted into there:
a sweet coolness that could dodge bullets
silk between your soles and earth
slim as the thin mirror of sky on wet streets
silvering you along, independent, free
jammin' like action you would be
like you go
like you slide
like you everywhere.
Then. When.
You're. Through.
Fold and tuck
into the wherever pocket
of space by your side
(bus, train, class, store).
Ready to roll when you're ready for more.
Make mine xootr.

I am.
whirling,
a universe
of one.
a form rotates
floating,
reality withheld.
the frictionless world
I wander.
the joy
in just two wheels,
the wonder.

xootr XVIII
Shall I compare
xootr to a bicycle?
It is more shapely and ergonomic:
Rough paths do shake the user's knees but little,
'though skaters find the braking comic.
Sometimes two miles is too hot to walk
without making fair complexion florid;
The product positioning's more than talk,
and rivals (kid-sized Razors) horrid;
xootr's eternal coolness shall not fade,
Nor lose control with three patents granted.
Nor shall rivals brag it struggles in their shade,
When by its design awards they're ha'nted.
So long as folks must walk, or urban traffic be,
Long live the xootr, that cuts commute in three.
David Croson
Push push, wind in my hair
Glide glide, people stop and stare
Push glide, I could go forever
Push glide, i'm as light as a feather
The laws of physics just do not apply
On a xootr anyone can fly
Push glide, xootr life is so sweet
Push glide, glide glide
Wheels not feet.

OH HOW I LOVE MY XOOTR
Oh how I love my xootr!
Crossing the campus with such speed!
I'm the only person with a scooter,
And everyone is jealous of me!
I used to just walk to class.
Others rode boards and bikes.
But now that I have my xootr,
I feel almost like I'm in flight!
I always have a smile on now.
Because I simply kick and glide,
Past other people walking,
Wishing they could have a ride!
I might let them have a chance,
But my xootr is not a toy.
Because now its one of my good friends,
And it brings me so much joy!
Everyone should get a xootr!
And that is what I tell my friends.
I hope to help the xootr co.
By selling more to college kids!

Flying Free
Stroke
Change your foot
Stroke
Feel the wind in your face
The sun is out
And the wind is competing to stop you
Cars fly by
Some stop and look
Curious of the technology
And others honk their horn in annoyance
Get off the road!
As you stop at red lights you peer forward
Determination to keep the motion
Some lights you pump to get through
Others are conveniently green
You long for shade
And for smooth concrete
Away from cars and motorcycles
No stop signs or people
Just lonely streets
With hanging willow trees
The odd blossom tree
Roses lining old gates
But most of all the sound of creaking
When you move your weight
Slyly changing which foot you use
The sound of wheels gliding on ice
Can you feel the jittery handle bars?
My favorite is not the swooning hills
But those teasing heights
That slowly change into a steady spiral down
There is no effort involved
Just stand and enjoy the sweet day
With the odd jump over oval potholes
All you have to watch out for
Is the rough patches of road
Or those times when you go on rigid sidewalks
The sound of the kathunk kathunk
Why do I love it?
Because my friend, it is fun
The speed is consuming
Especially to the beat of a mp3 player
I love the way you can crouch to get speed
The convenience of being able to put it up
So you can go on a bus
What a sight it must be for someone who sees it
A short girl in a skirt holding something built for speed
You stick your riding gloves on
Put your glasses over your eyes
Clip your Nap sack on and your set to go
Ready for the road
What do I ride?
A pro version Xootr Magnesium
A.K.A MG
The best of the best
Designed by race car drivers
Each component designed with safety and speed in mind
Ultra-low-resistance polyurethane wheels
Which keep going
Even after you pick it up
A bullet proof structure
And it even has brakes!
With a smart look to it
It's what I call scooting
Not powered by electrics
Nor by gas
But by the power of my legs
There's a certain joy knowing the speed is up to you
Not by the power of batteries
Only with endurance and practice
Well there you go
Now you know
Bet you can't catch me!
