Thanks to all the hard working folks at Cane Creek, we now have a suspension seat post available for the Swift. We offer both their long travel (LT) and short travel (ST) version. This is not a standard Swift seat post with the suspension mechanism bonded in, but rather it is Cane Creek's latest and greatest Thudbuster. Unlike most telescoping suspension designs that tend to pogo up and down, the Thudbuster features a patented parallel-link design that delivers suspension in the direct path of the natural travel of the rear wheel when the bike encounters a bump.
The LT version provides 3" (76mm) of travel while the ST version provides 1.3" (33mm) of travel. Each comes with various elastomers, soft (grey), medium (blue), firm (black). Additional elatomers are available from Cane Creek for lighter or heavier riders. The LT version uses two elastomers to provide the compression and rebound damping, meaning that you can mix and match them to tune the suspension to your specific needs.
The post comes in one length which is equivalent to our XXL post. If you would like us to cut it to size, please
email us with your order number and your current bike size after you place your order. The weight of the full length LT version is 923 grams and the ST version is 778 grams.
