These wheels were originally made for the eX3 electric scooter, which was made by Nova Cruz Products (our predecessor) in 2001-2002. We found a pallet of these wheels after acquiring the operation from Nova Cruz. This wheel is the same as our ultra wheel, but on a black fiberglass-reinforced plastic rim. This wheel fits all of our scooters and is the same dimensions as our regular wheel.
It has a ring gear integrally molded to the inside of the rim. This does not effect its function (and could even be used in a drive system of some kind by a hobbyist). It comes with our standard R8ZZ bearings (1/2 inch ID). These make great wheels for carts, dollies, scooters, trailers, pretty much any place you need a nice high performance wheel and don't mind the look and the molded gear teeth. These are especially nice for applications where only one side of the wheel shows (e.g., soap box derby). Limited availability.
